It’s officially spring time! Are you ready? While us Clevelanders may be slammed with snow, we should at least be prepared to update our wardrobes for the spring season!

Beauty:

Pastels are in! Brighten up your nails with a cute pastel color to make you get in the mood for spring. My favorite pastel nail polish colors come from Essie, they are to die for! Right now my favorite color they have is “Bikini So Teeny”; it’s the perfect shade of light pastel blue.

As for makeup, pick lighter colors for your eye makeup and pink shades for your lips! Trade your dark black and brown eyeshadows for a light nude shade and accent it with a pop of color! My favorite spring pallettes are the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette. They are both perfect if you’re looking for a flawless spring look! As for lipstick, go with a cream or glossy lip look instead of matte. My two favorite spring lipsticks are NARS Velvet Lip Glide in “Unlaced” and MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in “Creme Cup”.

Style:

Time to add some color to your life! Stop wearing your dark and bleak outfits ASAP! Adding a little color to your wardrobe will brighten your day and help you to prepare for the season. When it’s time to put away your winter coat, bring out cute light jackets to wear with your outfits to get more of a spring feel. Before you know it, you can bust out your cute off-the-shoulder shirts, casual dresses, and jean skirts! Don’t forget, this also means you can finally put away your winter boots and break out your sandals and flats! And if you’re anything like me, you know “Birk” season is right around the corner!

While it may seem daunting to keep your wardrobe up-to-season, I hope these tips will make for a seamless winter to spring transition!

I am learning to enjoy life more and more everyday through my experiences with the people I love.
