If any of you are like me, your snacking has significantly increased over quarantine. Sometimes a nice cozy treat is all it takes to cheer you up. I have had plenty of time to make messes in the kitchen. Out of those messes came some of my favorite treats that are satisfying and healthy.

Berries and Cream

Blueberries Heart

I decided to ditch the ice cream and add some more fruit into my diet. Grab a small bowl and fill with your favorite berries. I like to use raspberries and blueberries mostly. Top them with a spoonful of whip cream or try CoCo Whip for a vegan substitute. Sprinkle a few dark chocolate chips on top, and you’re done! The perfect remedy for a sweet tooth.

Green Tea Latte

I love to use my tea kettle. It gives me such a cozy feeling. Pull out your favorite mug and a bag of green tea. After steeping your tea bag in hot water, add a splash of vanilla almond milk. I like to rim my mug with a drizzle of honey instead of a spoonful of sugar. The best thing to pair it with? A good book and a comfy chair.

Honey Curry Popcorn

Popped Popcorn
Kirby Barth / Spoon
I love popcorn at all times of the day. It can be the perfect snack for any occasion. I’m guilty of tossing my popcorn in loads of butter and salt, but there is a healthier option. After your kernels are popped, drizzle about a tablespoon of honey over your corn. Add a dash of curry powder for your seasoning and shake the bowl until your popcorn is coated. It’s the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.
