Should guys carry man bags?

Allison: Satchel, man bag, man purse, all of these objects have very different meanings. Satchels belong to hipster men, of course. Man bags belong to businessmen because they remind me of briefcases. Also, fathers with babies need man bags because they need to carry all the things that a mother would have. Man purses, to which I believe this question pertains, belong to men who openly embrace their femininity. Therefore, I think that all of these items are necessary. As long as a man is comfortable carrying one, I believe that they should carry whichever they choose.

Derek: Hell yeah they should! Why should men have to be confined to what is “socially acceptable” when they can look fabulous instead? All you men out there who wear man bags, flaunt it and be proud.

When is it a good time to break out the winter coat?

Allison: It is a good time to break out the winter coat when you are cold. DUH.

Derek: Well that all depends on where you come from. If you come from Cleveland, most likely you do not even need a winter coat, a light jacket will do fine. However if you come from Florida, Cleveland is an all-year winter for you. Granted, we do have a few warm days, but those can quickly change into a cold wasteland to those people not familiar to the changing temperature of Cleveland.

What does the word “feminism” mean to you?

Allison: Feminism is the social, political, and economical equality of the sexes. To me, feminism is the true definition. I have never believed that women are better than men, but rather, that we are equal. Ultimately, feminism is closing the wage gap, eliminating double standards, and not shaming women based on their gender; Feminism is the positivity towards equality of both genders.

Derek: Feminism means equality, even though equality is truly difficult to attain. It means men and women are judged for who they are not what they are. It should never matter if someone is a man or a woman when it comes to jobs, etc. As well as no one should be looked down upon for being either or both in some cases. You should not have to be brave to be yourself, you should just be.
