Everyone loves getting packages from the mail center! Nothing warms your heart more than seeing that lovely email notification; especially if you weren’t expecting one. This week, I received a huge box full of Garnier Fructis Volume Extend shampoo and conditioner samples. Now, not only will I not have to worry about my dwindling supply of shampoo, but I also have a lot of samples to share with our Her Campus readers!

Personally, I used one of the samples last night to wash my hair. I thought the shampoo and conditioner combo did a wonderful job! As someone with not-always-so voluminous hair, I loved the volume that it gave me. Actually, as I looked at these small packets of samples, I thought they would be a wonderful thing for study abroad students to pack in their suitcases for next semester. As the packs are totally sealed, you wouldn’t have to worry about them exploding in a suitcase! If you are studying abroad, you should never pack full sized shampoos or conditioners in your suitcase, because they take up a lot of space and weight. (And you run the risk of having shampoo stained clothing.) I believe that these samples would be a wonderful alternative to packing travel sized containers, as they have no threat of leaking, take up little to no space or weight, and could easily provide you with enough product until you are able to locate the full sized products in a convenience store.

Overall, I wanted to give a great shout out to Garnier Fructis for sending us these wonderful samples! Thank you!
