As part of our spotlight on JCU’s acappella groups for the next few weeks, we’re shining the light on the best, brightest, and cutest members of each acappella group on campus! This week, we’re kicking off the series with the newest group on campus, Streaks in Key and our campus cutie Meg Slivka!
The Basics:
Name: Meg Slivka
Hometown: Olmsted Falls
Year: Junior
Major: Psychology on the Forensic track, Minor in Sociology and Criminology
JCU Life:
JCU Involvement: Sweets, Streaks in Key, Dance Ensemble, I work at the JCU Mail Center and as a Life Guard.
Favorite part of JCU: Hanging out with friends and always being busy! There is always something to do.
Favorite spot on campus: The quad. Well, when it’s not raining, at least.
Favorite JCU memory: Man this question makes me feel old. My freshman year first night frenzy is one of my many favorite memories here at JCU. It’s where I got to hang out with my roommate for the first time and learn just how awesome she really is.
Fun Facts:
Favorite Book: This is a hard question because there are so many. I really like the Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare.
Dream Job: Something forensics-related. I haven’t really figured my life out, but what college kid has?
Favorite 90’s TV Show: Full House or Roseanne for sure.
Favorite Movie: I love pretty much every Disney movie, but who doesn’t? Sooo I am going to have to say Transformers…all of them ha!
Dating Life:
Relationship status: Single
Ideal date night: I’m a pretty chill person, and anyone who knows me knows I like to talk… a lot, so probably just hang out, talk, and watch a movie to which I will scream at the TV the entire time or go hiking if I’m feeling adventurous.
Best feature a guy can have: Being able to make me laugh, although nice eyes always help too.
Deal Breaker: Smoking and being a jerk. Yuck.
