As an avid watcher of all things Bachelor related, I was rightfully upset when the next Bachelorette’s name was revealed prior to the next rose ceremony. While I do love Rachel Lindsay, which undoubtedly contributed to my feelings of anguish, I absolutely cannot STAND spoilers. (And to me, spoilers on The Bachelor are the worst!)
For one, I truly believed that Rachel was wife material, more so than Corinne, anyway. In my opinion, Nick focuses more on sexual appeal, which seems to be more important to him than forming solid relationships. Rachel, on the other hand, truly cared about Nick, and longed to connect with him on an emotional level. Before I heard the breaking Bachelorette news, I thought Rachel and Nick’s relationship was growing stronger, as their connection was based off more than physical attraction. Unfortunately, however, my instincts were wrong.
According to US Weekly, producers spilled the beans weeks in advance in order to round up an exceptional batch of men for Rachel to choose from. While I’m all for Rachel finding her one true love, I still believe that important Bachelor news can wait, especially if there are spoilers included!
