We’ve all taken to the internet in a rage, but you really shouldn’t talk (or more importantly, tweet) about people on an online platform. It gets around. Listed below are five reasons why you shouldn’t subtweet about your friends.

1. Everyone knows who your tweet is about. You’re not as subtle as you think.

2. You’re in college – act your age. Maybe it was okay in high school, but not anymore.

3. Everyone in the Twitter world knows you have beef with someone. Why would you want that?

4. Your friend could fire back. Their insult will probably be worse than yours, and more direct.

5. It doesn’t solve anything. Have a REAL conversation with your friend – you’ll work everything out with them, and feel much better afterward.
