I have chosen to major in social work and become a child and family social worker. I chose this because I have always had a passion for helping others and I want to help children especially. I mainly want to work with adoptions and foster care services, because I was adopted, and this area is close to my heart. I plan to get my bachelor’s degree and start working so I can get experience, go back and get my masters. I cannot wait till I get to spend my days helping children find loving homes and forever families. Most people worry about how much they will get paid and I understand that, you shouldn’t put yourself in a position to struggle. To me it is very important that I have a job that makes a difference and betters the world, and this is why I want my degree.
