Jacksonville State University’s show choir, Encore!, outdid themselves in their ninth annual Halloween “Tubaween” special. Encore! show choir captivated the audience with exciting choreography, fabulous musical medleys, incredible costumes…and free candy!
Spooky Halloween-inspired songs, choreography, and costumes were only outshone by the extraordinary atmosphere, as the show choir included the audience and kept us on the edge of our seats throughout their performance.
Senior, Kelsi Cordell had this to say about how Encore! has impacted her time at JSU, “Being a part of show choir at JSU has been a blessing because I get to perform in an organization that I love for a school that I love. Performing is what makes me happy and being able to be a member of this group is something I’ll always cherish. I always look forward to Tubaween every year because I love seeing everyone’s costumes.”
I personally enjoyed watching my fellow gamecocks strut their stuff and cannot wait until next year.
