I already see so much of myself in you.  I would have it no other way. At the age of nineteen, I can only hope and pray that at the end of my days I can call myself half the woman that you are. The things you have taught me are endless. You have shown me to be fierce and fearless, and to never back down from my dreams or what I believe in. You teach me more as the days go on. You teach me how to be courageous, and how to fight for the things in life that I want and need. You show me the good in this big bad world. You have also taught me kindness and sympathy. You have shown me every day since I was born to have a heart as big as the world, and to care for each and every person I welcome into my life. You taught me to overcome the heartaches and pain, while holding my hand through every single dark day and night. You are my constant support system, even when you feel weak yourself. Your encouragement and love is nonstop, and reminds me each second that I mean something to someone. You show me the exact meaning of love.

The one thing that I cannot thank you most for is being my best friend. Your love keeps me going on my worst days, and your constant encouragement got me to where I am today. You’ve taught me character, charisma, and strength that no one besides a mother could. So, here’s to you Mom, one of the kindest and most beautiful spirits the world has ever known.
