Dear Me,

Thank you for being you. Life can be tough, and we all know it. I believe that everything happens for a reason. Recently life has been throwing you curve ball after curve ball. Even though you get knocked down by a few here and there, you always stand right back up. You are still somehow so strong and I don’t know how.

Thank you for learning to love yourself. In today’s world, you have to be a size 0 with long blonde hair to be considered perfect. I don’t ever wake up looking pretty, but thank you for accepting it. I mean who wakes up looking like a Barbie doll? How am I supposed to enjoy doughnuts and be a size 0? I would much rather enjoy doughnuts and hot Cheetos rather than fit into someone’s type.

Thank you for standing up for yourself. You have been the doormat for so long that you finally put your foot down and only accepted what you deserved. I’m proud of you. When you want to say something, you say it. When you want to do something, you do it, and most of the time you put way too much on your plate. The honest truth is, you just don’t want to quit. Quitting is never an option, and I admire that.

Thank you for being one of the strongest person I know. You were knocked down, but stood back up so tall. Just when you thought you couldn’t go on, just when you were about to give up, you stood taller than you ever have before.

Thank you for never quitting. Thank you for being so strong. Thank you for becoming a better person when the world put you through hell. Thank you for overcoming the biggest obstacles. Thank you for being so independent. Most importantly, thank you for being you.

Love,

Me
