This past weekend I traveled to Nashville, Tennessee for the second time this year. I went for the first time over the summer and it was a bit overwhelming. This time, I was more prepared for the crowds and the overall environment. So basically if you’re planning to go to Nashville, expect tons of intoxicated people and a lot of live music.

Nashville isn’t my favorite place that I’ve visited, but I’m glad that I’ve experienced the city. I enjoyed the rooftop bars, the food, and the music. I also went to my first “Drag Brunch” which was so fun.

Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the overpriced drinks and the crowded environment. And forget about getting an affordable Uber or Lyft if you need a ride back to your hotel. Once it passes 9:00 PM in Nashville, you’re in for an interesting night (or a long walk if your hotel isn’t close).

Overall, I have enjoyed my trips to Nashville but I don’t think it’s somewhere I’d want to travel to again any time soon. Sure, it’s a great place to get drunk and dance the night away, but that’s not really my favorite thing to do. But if that’s your idea of a great night then Nashville is for you. As for me, I’ll be exploring somewhere else for my next road trip.
