This week’s campus celebrity is Nick Bare. Nick is a senior Nutrition Major with a Business Administration Minor, which is fitting due to the fact he has recently created his own nutrition company, Bare Performance Nutrition.

He describes BPN as, “a dietary supplement company in the final stages of production with a pre-workout and thermogenic product coming soon. We also have an intra-workout/Branch Chain Amino Acid product that is currently in Research in Development.”

Nick explains “I have always been extremely interested in dietary supplements, the science behind them and using them to improve my athletic performance.”

After being tired of products that under-dosed ingredients then hidden by proprietary blends, Nick decided start his own supplement company with high quality supplements that would be true to consumers.

Driven by that vision, he decided to go through with the company and found a GMP-certfied manufacturer and worked to change his ingredient profile around to get just the right prices without under dosing the ingredients.

On his company website, consumers can expect to find products that include not only nutrition supplements, but also apparel.

Nick is determined to “see this company grow as much as possible within the next 12 months.” He explains the top priorities of the company focus on the products rather than advertising. He’d really like to see people get their intended results. “We want to motivate people to workout and push themselves to achieve a healthier lifestyle.” He also looks forward to seeing the company expand and introducing more clothing and supplements.

His company has already taken off and met success with getting its name out to the public creating a strong fan base. His company has been networking with fitness enthusiasts around the country.

After graduating from IUP, Nick plans on commissioning into the United States Army as an Infantry Officer. From there he’ll head down to Georgia for a minimum of 6 months training. He’d like for the company to expanding and growing with the help of his graphic designer, Dan Dreibelbis.

“I would like Bare Performance Nutrition to be more than a supplement company and provide health/fitness information to a large demographic.”

His inspiration comes from “watching someone put everything they have into something, because they believe in and producing success.” He becomes even more driven when other people believe in what he’s doing.

Nick has big plans for the upcoming year as his company continues to grow. Check out what his company is all about at his website, www.bareperformancenutrition.com or on BPN’s facebook page which offers free giveaways on Facebook from time to time at www.facebook.com/bareperformancenutrition.
