This week’s Campus Celebrity is IUP’s very own mascot, Norm! The Crimson Hawk, in recent weeks, has been busy leading the campus in riotous support of our various sports teams, and doing a stellar job at it. I got to sit next to Norm for just a few minutes during the boy’s basketball team’s PSAC championship win against Slippery Rock, and it’s no wonder the campus finds Norm fascinating.
Norm is charismatic, energetic, and an all around good time. Here’s to you Norm, for always being there to unite our campus against our enemies, and providing us with light-hearted good cheer. For your ability to bring a smile to IUP students faces whether they are on campus or off, you are this week’s Campus Celebrity.
