The time between summer and fall might be my favorite season. I don’t think there’s a better feeling than the first chills of autumn while it’s still warm out. It’s heavy with the anticipation of a new season, but still green and balmy when you step outside. It feels like a liminal space that’s both an ending and a beginning of something. It’s hard to describe this time of year with words, so I decided to make a playlist to try and capture this weird, whimsical feeling. I tried to choose a selection of songs that feel witchy, sunny, bittersweet, and nostalgic!
