1. Less Worrying

On the glorious Friday night before Valentine’s Day, free yourself from the concerns of creating the perfect date. Instead of panicking about the restaurant’s food, having the right gift, or if you’re wearing the right dress, immerse yourself in the care-free environment of a girls’ night.

2. No Begging

Nobody likes being the last choice. Defy the rules of the love game and don’t ask a guy to go out with you! Since you definitely don’t need his expectations or the awkward what-do-I-wear hour of awkwardness, call up your girls— they always have your back.

3. More Fun

We all know the drudgery of first-date questions. What is your favorite activity? Independence. Take the night by storm with a bowl of popcorn, lots of nail polish, and a chick flick featuring Ryan Gosling. After all, there are only so many annoying get-to-know-you questions we can stomach.

4. No Judgment

Eat that brownie! You don’t have to worry about popping a button on your super chic blouse if you’re spending your night in your PJ’s. Valentine’s Day is a holiday of chocolate, cupcakes, and donuts. This year, try to enjoy all the things it has to offer!

5. The Night Cap

Instead of cautiously wandering up to your front door (assuming he has the chivalry to walk you) and enduring the 5-second simmer and the awkward …Is he staying? moment, enjoy the end of the evening and early hours of the morning with a Mean Girls revisit. Just remember: “Don’t have sex, because you will get pregnant and die.”
