3 Useful Microsoft Apps to Stay Organized

To-DO

Microsoft To-Do app has saved my life this semester. It’s super useful to enter all of my assignments and set reminders on my phone; that way I get reminded of assignments before they’re due! The app offers daily to-do lists, task lists, important lists, and planned events. You can also make your own list and customize each to your own needs. If your university/work uses Microsoft Outlook, it will link to your email making it convenient to access. It’s a great way to organize all of your assignments and due dates into one place with set reminders!

Onedrive

OneDrive is just like the Apple cloud- all of your school documents are uploaded to one place. This is so helpful for people who may have to log into different computers to do school work because you can access your work straight from Office anywhere. This will also save your life when your old laptop kicks the bucket and all your files are gone; if you have OneDrive, your downloads will be safe with Microsoft Office. I love to use this for my desktop and laptop computers, I don’t have to worry about forgetting an essay is only downloaded on my desktop while I’m home for the weekend with just my laptop.

Lens

THIS! I am so grateful I discovered this app going into my second year of nursing school. Lens takes pictures of documents, white boards, business cards, and photos from your gallery to translate any text into a Word document. This will save you so much time when trying to write out notes or when you simply don’t have time to handwrite important info!
