Starbucks is now offering a new alternative to regular sugar.  Truvia is an all natural sweetener and healthy alternative to artificial sweeteners.  If you put sugar in your tea, coffee, even ceral, start substituting it for Truvia.  What do you have to lose?  Well now that you mention it, there is something you can lose with Truvia… calories!

Yes, you read that right, Truvia has ZERO (0, none, zilch) calories!  Truvia can even be used to cook and bake.  If you visit www.truvia.com you can see a recipe and sweetness conversion chart.

So what makes Truvia taste and look so great?  Truvia is made from rebiana, erythritol, and natural flavors.  Rebiana comes from the leaves of the stevia plant, which was discovered in South America.  The rebiana used in truvia is different from most stevia sold today because it consists of only the best-tasting components of the stevia plant.

In case you were wondering, rebiana is completely safe!
The FDA and World Health Organization have recognized it as safe.  Another component of Truvia is erythritol.  It is a sugar alcohol found nturall in fruits like grapes and melons.  Erythritol is the bulk ingredient in Truvia.  Natural flavors like pepper, salt, and other spices are used to bring of the best taste of Truvia.

Truvia is available all over the country in grocery and food stores.  Have you ever noticed the small green leaf on such products like Vitamin Water, Crystal Light, and some Powerade drinks?  This symbol indicates that the product has been naturally sweetened with Truvia.

Want to know a fun fact?  Truvia natural sweetener is safe for people with diabetes!  It has no effect on the glycemic index and therefore does not raise or lower blood sugar.

So collegiates™ there is no questions that Truvia natural sweetener is better and healthier than artifical sweeteners.  ZERO calories, and great taste?

It’s too sweet too be true!
