In just a few short days the Retail Studies Organization (RSO) will host the 2012 RSO Fashion show, “Chapiteau Nouveau: Cirque du Vogue.” This free event will be held in the IMU Alumni Hall at 7:00PM on Thursday, April 12, 2012. All the designs that will be featured in the show were designed and created by Indiana University students. Along with Her Campus IU, representatives from College Fashionista will also be in attendance! They will be scoping out the “Best Dressed” guests with prizes for the winners.
On Wednesday April 4, 2012, Her Campus IU had the privilege of attending the models’ practice. We watched as they slipped into heels and stomped down the makeshift runway.
With their shoulders pushed back and heads held high, they looked more than ready to conquer the real runway on Thursday. Next week the models will be featured on our site!
Designers were also in attendance at the practice. They sat on the sidelines and watched the girls walk before they chose which models they wanted to wear their designs. HCIU got a sneak peak of the designs that will be shown at the fashion show, but we’re keeping our lips sealed!
The models enjoy each other’s company as they wait for the practice to officially begin.
