Orange You Glad You Watched The Emmys?

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at IU chapter.

Although there were many gorgeous gowns in various shades of the rainbow, we especially loved the orange-clad actresses we saw at the Emmy’s.

Victoria Justice looked beautiful in this shimmery Contrarian halter gown, and neutral heels and clutch. We loved how she had minimal hair and makeup so that and the dress really popped. We say it’s a huge “victory!”

Although we admire Ginnifer Goodwin’s acting talent, her fashion sense can be a bit hit or miss. But we don’t expect her landing on the back page of US Weekly with this edgy yet romantic Monique Lhuillier frock. It fit her impeccably, emphasizing her tiny waist and petite figure. She even had perfectly matching shoes. Good job Ginnifer!

Padma Lakshmi looked stunning in this strapless sweetheart gown, also designed by Monique Lhuillier. It looked flawless on her shimmery skin and her diamond drop earnings. Definitely one of the best dressed at the event!

How can you incorporate the trendy fall color into your wardrobe?

Go for these Free People “Floral Cord Skinnies.” They look great with boots (as shown) and with a denim button up. Freepeople.com, $128.

Steal this Stephan & Co statement necklace to add some color to a neural outfit. At $16, this won’t break your bank! Nordstrom.com, $16

This Madewell layering top is so versatile. You can tuck it into a pencil skirt for a more professional look, or wear it with your favorite skinny jeans and cozy fall sweater. It’s also on sale for $49.99 so get it before it’s gone! Madewell.com, $49.99
