Secret to no one, Target launched their Missoni line in stores this past Tuesday. The response to this launch was unlike any other designer that Target has paired with.  Not only were items on back order before they were even in stores, but the influx of online shoppers that day caused Target’s website to shut down for hours. After being fixed, it was reported that over 6,000 items were bought and then resold on EBay.

This explains why majority of Target stores across the country were completely sold out of the line by noon after opening at 8 am. The line includes zigzag everything, from tote bags to pajama shorts to even a Missoni bike. Although the line is meant for people who cannot afford the high prices of the brands normal line, even movie stars are after it. Celebrities like Jessica Alba and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards were tweeting about the lines success and their wish list. It goes to show you do not have to shop on Rodeo Drive, Madison Avenue or even Michigan Avenue to get high fashion.
