James Mactaggart ’13

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at IU chapter.

Cheerio, ladies.  James Mactaggart ’13 can’t go anywhere without hearing some excited young woman scream: “Draco! Draco Malfoy! Can I have your autograph?!”

And like your favorite character in Harry Potter, his charm is magical.

Full name: James Campbell Mactaggart

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: Oxford, England

Major: Sports Marketing & Management

Hobbies: Rugby, and hanging around with my mates

What do you look for in a woman?
Pretty eyes and a great smile

How would you describe your personal style?
I’m pretty much a walking stereotype, so I always wear three-piece suits and bowler hats.

What do you want to do with your life?
I haven’t really thought too much about that. Right now I’m focusing a lot on my studies and rugby, but I’d love to get a good job after graduation and settle down over here eventually.

What have you learned from being at IU?
IU’s been great—I’ve definitely learned a lot. The most important thing? Life’s full of opportunities and we have to make the most of them.
