3. Corpse Bride (2005)
“Corpse Bride” starring Johnny Deep and Emily Watson, follows the journey of Victor and Victoria’s arranged marriage. Victor ventures out into the forest to practice his lines for the wedding. However, he was dragged into the land of the dead by Emily who was murdered after she eloped with her love. Emily wants to marry Victor, however, Victor must find a way to get back above ground so his bride Victoria doesn’t marry someone else. “Corpse Bride” is a riveting and chilling movie that takes viewers on the journey of two lovers.
4. Halloweentown (1998)
Follow the story of Marnie and her kids visit their grandmas house in Halloweentown. They are then faced with the truth that they come from a family of witches. Halloweentown is the only town where supernatural beings can live a “normal” life. While in Halloweentown, Marnia finds out she is a witch and her family is involved in a fight against evil forces that want to take control. “Halloweentown” follows the story of Marnie and her journey in saving the town.
5. Beetlejuice (1988)
“Beetlejuice” follows the story of Adam and Barbara. Unfortunately, Adam and Barbara died in an accident and became stuck haunting thier country residence and are unable to leave. Soon after the Deetzes and their daughter Lydia buy the home and move in. However, they quickly become unbearable and Adam and Barbara try their best to scare them away with no luck. All of their efforts attract Beetlejuice, a rambunctious spirit, who creates danger for Adam, Barbara and Lydia. Tim Burton does it again with this comedy/horror movie keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.
