The Lego Movie franchise might appeal to younger kids, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy it! The first Lego Movie, starring amazing actors and actresses like Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks and Will Ferrell, knocked my socks off. It’s a movie that anyone of any age can enjoy. The writing is clever and humorous, the characters are lovable, and most importantly, the main character becomes a hero by breaking the mold and unleashing his creativity.
The Lego Batman Movie, which stars Batman from the original Lego Movie, also spreads important messages. I don’t want to spoil anything, but the best part about The Lego Batman Movie is, besides its incredibly witty writing, that it portrays how important it is to love your friends and always be by their side.
Both of these movies were phenomenal, and I can’t wait to see what The Lego Movie 2 has in store!
