Tiffany Haddish let loose during an interview with GQ that, at a party where Beyoncé and Jay-Z were in attendance, an actress actually bit Beyoncé’s face. Haddish refused to name who actually did it, but, nevertheless, the internet took to the story by storm.
Haddish told Beyoncé, after witnessing the bite, “I’m going to beat somebody a** at your party. I just want to let you know that”, but Beyoncé said, “Tiffany, no. Don’t do that. That bitch is on drugs. She not even drunk. The bitch is on drugs. She not like that all the time. Just chill.”
After hearing about this, people began to speculate; who bit Queen Bey? Some people thought it was Lena Dunham, Sara Foster or Sanaa Lathan.
Dunham tweeted, “To the paps who chased me through the airport yelling ‘we need to know- did you bite Beyonce!?’” A- I basically only leave home for work and ginger ale. B- No, you don’t need to know. C- What the fuck do you think?” and then, “But can someone explain to my mom why anyone THINKS I bit Beyonce? She seems mad and also weirdly doubtful of me…”
Foster has also denied the claim by posting an email on Instagram with the caption, “Flattering that anyone thinks I could get this close to Beyoncé”
Lathan, like Dunham, took to Twitter, posting, “Y’all are funny. Under no circumstances did I bite Beyonce and if I did it would’ve been a love bite”
Chrissy Teigen even joined in, tweeting, “I cannot leave this planet without knowing who bit Beyonce in the face” and, “I can only think of one person who would do this. but I cannot say. but she….is the worst”. And, after finally learning who bit Beyoncé, she tweeted, “Update it is NOT the person I think is the worst. IM DONE”.
More recently, sources have come forward saying it was, in fact, Sanaa Lathan who bit Beyoncé, even though she continues to deny it. Beyoncé’s representatives have declined to comment, but that’s no surprise, as she and her husband are incredibly private people.
So, although many believe that it was Lathan who bit Queen Bey, if Haddish and Teigen keep their lips sealed, it looks like we’ll never know for sure.
