On Wednesday night Jenna Marbles uploaded a new video called “Meet Bunny Our Rescue Greyhound,” and I completely lost it. Jenna is such a wholesome person and great dog owner, so I was extremely excited to see she got another dog. She is already a mother to an 11-year-old Chihuahua named Marbles and two Italian Greyhounds named Kermit and Peach, who are 8 and 4, respectively. Jenna got all of her dogs as puppies, so this was her first time getting an adult dog. Her rescue is also a big dog, so that’s a big change.
Jenna and her boyfriend, Julien Solomita, have wanted a rescue Greyhound for a long time, so I’m so happy that they finally got one! The couple was on a waitlist before they got their 3-year-old dog through an organization that specializes in homing Greyhounds. They received a very timid girl on April 19 and named her Bunny. Bunny is experiencing so many new things for the first time and it will probably take her a while to get used to her new life.
Jenna waited to introduce her dog to the world because she knew that she’d face criticism and wanted to get settled first. There isn’t one right way to introduce a new pet to your family, but I think that Jenna is doing a great job. She introduced Bunny to each dog one at a time in a neutral setting and at times uses a muzzle to make sure she won’t bite. I’m sure people will give her hate for using a muzzle, but it in no way hurts the dog and keeps everyone safe. Jenna is such a loving dog owner and the perfect person to take in a nervous rescue. I can’t wait to see Bunny become a part of her family.

If it weren’t enough that Jenna Marbles got a new dog, Taylor Swift got a new cat! Swift is a big-time cat lover, but she didn’t want to have more than two because she thought she’d be classified as a crazy cat lady. She must have gotten over this fear because she just added one more to her family. She already has two adorable girls named Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson. Her new little fuzz ball is a boy who loves being carried around. Swift kept with her naming trend by naming her new cat after the character Benjamin Button.
We don’t know much about Benjamin other than the fact that “he’s a good boy.” Swift announced her new cat on her social media platforms the same day her single “ME!” was released. It was a big day for her, but I bet she’s more excited about the cat than her single dropping. Benjamin was in the “ME!” music video, so she obviously has had him at least since filming that scene. I have no clue how long it takes to film music videos, but he does seem to be a bit bigger in the video where Taylor is carrying him than he is in the music video.
Jenna Marbles and Taylor Swift both seem like great pet owners, and I’m really happy for both of them. Plus, their new additions mean more cute pet videos and pictures, and who doesn’t want that?
