Last week, your’s truly (HC Illinois) and Illinithon hosted our annual “Walking In A Winter Glamourland” event, and we’re pretty sure anyone who attended would agree— it was a total success.
Like previous years, HC’s Winter Glamourland event took place at The Clybourne bar. The night consisted of performances by A ‘Capella groups The Other Guys and The Rip Chords, who sang some songs off of their classic repertoire as well as holiday songs to get event goers in the spirit.
Throughout the evening, dozens of sponsors offered up free food, beauty and health samples for guests, including: Jimmy John’s, Insomnia Cookies, Salon No. 7, Rimmel London, Flying Colors, Working Girl, Yogi, Biocharge and others.
Prizes were also raffled off throughout the night, including Starbucks cards, Amara Yoga & Arts passes, Azzip Pizza cards, Crossfit passes, Soulcycle passes, So Obsessed jewelry, Kendra Scott jewelry and a basketball signed by Chicago Bulls player Jimmy Butler.
All of the proceeds from this event will go to Toys For Tots—helping kids get Christmas present in the Champaign-Urbana Community.
