1. Flying Machine Avionics
This place is spectacular. Right on the outskirts of campus, this little coffee shop is retro, has good vibes and is super cool. With homemade in-house chai and a wide selection of coffee and lattes, you really can’t go wrong. They even have homemade baked goods and a large selection of sandwiches and snacks.
2. BrewLab Coffee
BrewLab is the it spot for studying while drinking some delicious coffee or seasonal drinks. Right now, the apple cider chai latte is a must have. The walls are whiteboards and BrewLab provides markers to use the walls for whatever you may want to do. BrewLab’s little secret: they have daily prepared Sakanaya rolls for purchase as well. Coffee, sushi, and writing on walls.. this place is fantastic!
3. Aroma Coffee
Cute and quaint right in the center of downtown Champaign. They have a wide variety of baked goods and sandwiches as well as a long list of coffees and specialty lattes. It’s the perfect study spot, or even the perfect spot to read a book and drink some delicious coffee.
4. Pizza M
Do not be deceived by the name or location (Urbana). Pizza M has great pizza but more importantly amazing specialty lattes. The chai tea is house made and unbelievable. Located in the center of Urbana, Pizza M is a great study spot, pizza and coffee shop. Hungry, thirsty and need to study? Kill two birds with one stone and head to Pizza M.
5. Cafe Kopi
Matcha Latte. They perfected the matcha latte at Cafe Kopi. On top of that, they perfected a wide selection of lattes, coffees and specialty drinks. They also have a strong food menu if you are hungry as well. It’s a large space, so perfect for meeting a friend or getting some work done!
