Time to put away the jean shorts and Free People tanks. It’s officially sweater and boot weather. Retire the coral-and-turquoise-look and embrace this crisp and colorful fall weather. ‘Tis the season of fall nail polish colors! Get in the spirit and spice up your look with these fabulous colors!

1. Deep Red
Essie’s “Berry Hard” is a personal favorite and a staple polish of mine. It gives classic red polish an updated look. It will go perfectly with any piece of clothing in your closet! $8.00

OPI’s “Midnight in Moscow” is a trendy nail color. It’s a deep red with a splash of gold. A great color that can be dressed up or dressed down. $5.50

2. Gold
Give your nails an ultra-glam look with Chanel’s “Peridot”.  This eye-catching color will get you into that Holiday cheer. This shimmery and chic polish is a little on the pricey side, but totally worth the investment! $25

Similar to the Chanel polish, but with a much lower price tag. OPI’s “Gold Shatter” is a funky polish that when applied “shatters” on your nails. It’s dazzling color will spruce up any outfit. $5.50

3. Purple
Hate waiting for your nails to dry? MAC’s “Purple Majesty” dries super fast! Perfect for an on-the go girl. Add this glossy deep plum to your Fall polish collection. $15.00

OPI’s “Lincoln Park After Dark” is a classic Fall polish. A black with a purple hue looks great on both fair and dark skin.  It’s edgy but elegant at the same time.  $5.50

4. Blue
Chanel’s “Blue Satin” is a chic alternative to red for a night on the town. Be right on trend with this glamorous shade. $25.00

Feeling a little daring with your nail color?  Try Essie’s “Bobbing for Baubles”! It’s a rich blue that looks great on short nails.  $8.00

Emily Cleary is a 22-year-old news-editorial journalism major hoping to work in the fashion industry, whether that be in editorial, marketing, PR or event planning is TBD. With internships at Teen Vogue and StyleChicago.com, it's clear that she is a fashion fanatic. When she's not studying (she's the former VP of her sorority, Delta Delta Delta), writing for various publications or attending meetings for clubs like Business Careers in Entertainment Club, Society of Professional Journalists, The Business of Fashion Club, or for her role as the Assistant Editor of the Arts & Entertainment section of her school's magazine, she's doing something else; you will never find her sitting still. She loves: running (you know those crazy cross-country runners...), attending concerts and music festivals, shopping (of course), hanging out with friends, visiting her family at home, traveling (she studied abroad in London when she was able to travel all over Europe), taking pictures, tweeting, reading stacks and stacks of magazines and newspapers while drinking a Starbuck's caramel light frappacino, blogs and the occasional blogging, eating anything chocolate and conjuring up her next big project. Living just 20 minutes outside of Chicago, she's excited to live there after graduation, but would love to spend some time in New York, LA, London or Paris (she speaks French)!
