I’m serious when I say I love tea so much. In fact, freshman year I wrote an entire article about tea in English 101. I’m not sure why I love tea so much. It might be because my mom used to drink tea often and she would have a very broad array of teas readily available in our kitchen cabinets. I don’t remember partaking in tea or coffee drinking when I was younger, because the taste of both drinks didn’t really stick out to me. As I’ve grown, I’ve become an avid tea drinker. I still have many teas to try, and I’m sure this list will only continue to change as I explore other types of teas. With that being said, here are my top three favorite teas at the moment:

Mint Majesty – Teavana

This is one of the teas that I have tried at Starbucks. I love the subtleness of this tea and how light and gentle it is. The mint flavor in this tea is present and refreshing, especially when the tea is at a nice steamy temperature. If you like mint flavors, or you need a more refreshing cup of tea, this one’s for you!

True Blueberry – Celestial Seasonings

Celestial Seasonings is a brand I’ve known for a very long time. When I was younger, I went on a tea tour of the Celestial Seasonings factory in Boulder, Colorado. Celestial Seasonings’ teas are truly delicious and the fun designs on the packaging of these teas make the brand even more enjoyable. I’ve indulged in many teas from this brand, but True Blueberry is a flavor that I tried more recently and loved. I’m an avid blueberry fan, so when I saw this tea flavor, I was almost positive that I would love it. The blueberry flavors come out of this tea in such a beautiful way that you must try it out for yourself!

Egyptian Chamomile – Harney & Sons

I was introduced to this tea when I went to Magnolia Bakery in Chicago. I wasn’t sure of which tea to get, so I picked this one quickly and ended up loving it. In my opinion, chamomile teas usually aren’t extremely flavorful, which is completely alright with me, but this particular tea was so flavorful––it was pleasantly surprising. If you like a good chamomile tea, you should definitely give this one a try.

The cozy and comforting act of enjoying a cup of tea is so lovely, which is why it’s a drink loved by many. If you’re looking to try different types of teas, you should give one of these a try, and if you’re already a tea lover like I am and you haven’t tried these teas yet, add them to your list. Happy tea drinking!
