Less than three weeks until I enter the promise land…Panama City Beach, more commonly known as PCB. As a first time PCBer I am wondering what exactly I am getting myself into. In order to prepare, I watched the movie Spring Breakers…if that is anything like PCB I may want to consider writing up my will before I depart. If you are a first-timer like me you may have some similar thoughts.

1.     How much money should I bring?

2.     If you aren’t staying at the Summit, are you even going to PCB?

3.     One bathroom? Hey that’s an excuse for not showering.

4.     Do we eat? If so, what do we eat?

5.     Speaking of eating, is there continental breakfast provided?

6.     Considering the plethora of fluids we will be taking in…is peeing in the ocean frowned upon?

7.     What is a “Spinnaker”?

8.     Spend $80 on a life proof phone case or chance possibly spending $600 on a new phone?

9.     I’ll take my chances; I need that money for my party pass.

10. Will I get arrested if I touch Luke Bryan?

11. Do you think 14 bikinis is enough?

12. Is there a Domino’s pizza near by? Or at least Papa John’s?

13. When do we sleep? Do we even sleep?

14. I have to be up and on the beach at 8am? I’m bringing my Keurig.

15. Maybe I’ll just Google PCB…WOW I could’ve gone my whole life without seeing that.

16. Wait, is it a nude beach?

17. I hope their mothers have never seen this.

18. I have a feeling what happens in PCB will not stay in PCB.

19. What is the life expectancy of a PCBer?

20.  I should probably start preparing…mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Now don’t let this article fool you, I am beyond excited for my first PCB Spring Break! But as a first-timer, a lot of thoughts come to mind. Be sure to stay tuned for my follow up article when/if I return (lol just kidding…kind of).
