Chasers have set the standard for bars around Bloomington, Illinois. Owned by Ron Nurceski, the bar has started new trends years ago that bars today are considering. Ron has been able to successfully bring in customers and entertain them for years.
HC: What inspired the name of the bar?
Ron: We were just brainstorming, it has no significance.
HC: How long have you been working at Chasers?
Ron: I had a previous bar 3 years in operation under a name 110 in 1999.
HC: What do you like best about being an owner?
Ron: Dealing with customers, meeting and entertaining them to make sure they are having fun.
HC: Why did you choose this business?
Ron: Since college, bar and business has been an importance to me, and so I just fell into the business.
HC: So, what is your signature drink?
Ron: The Chaser, several different vodkas with the appropriate juices topped off with grenadine.
HC: What is your bar known for?
Ron: Known for dancing, good music and awesome drinks.
HC: What is your favorite part about working at Chasers?
Ron: Making sure everyone has a good time, maintaining order and meeting new people.
HC: Tell me a little bit about your bar. What separates Chasers from the rest?
Ron: We have the biggest and largest dance floors, live video DJ which started 3 years ago. We are the example for other bars around the area, we have up to date music, best drinks, packed almost every night, close to 500 people. When you’re there you are bound to have a good time.
