Karen Meany and Molly McClowny, ISU students and members of John Paul II Catholic Newman Center, fasten crosses in the ground. The students from the Newman Center said they arrange crosses on the quad each year to raise awareness for the lives sacrificed due to abortion, as well as talking with their fellow peers on the issue. Although in the past the group dealt with hostility, they said that this year they had a much more positive response and felt respect from their peers.
