When you hear the words “March Madness” at Illinois State University, we are not talking about basketball. We are talking about the annual philanthropy hosted by Chi Omega; that not only brings together Greek life on campus, but also goes to an amazing cause. For 39 years Chi Omega has been holding the March Madness dance competition, and throughout those years they have raised over $150,000 for Make A Wish Foundation, which truly is an incredible achievement. Although it is a competition, all houses know that there really is only one actual winner, and those are the children Make A Wish Foundation helps everyday.

Every year all of the houses on campus compete against one another for the victory and of course, bragging rights of March Madness. This year was definitely one for the books. With the theme being Millennium Madness everyone was taken through a musical roller coaster of the best hits from the 2000’s, and I know it brought back some great memories. Each chapter spends countless hours practicing for months, and shed a lot of sweat and tears to be able to represent their houses on stage. This year, three fraternities and three sororities are able to say that they placed in Chi Omega’s 2015 March Madness competition.

First and foremost, lets thank the beautiful ladies of Chi Omega!

To all of the houses that participated, your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed by anyone in the Greek and ISU community! Congratulations to the houses that participated and to the winners, but as it is always said, the winners are the kids.

Thank you Chi Omega for continuing to put on an amazing show year after year, and continuously blowing the audience away with your performance as well. March Madness brings out the best in the Greek community and shows how much one campus can achieve through an event such as this!

Until next years March Madness!
