How To Survive the Trump Administration

Watching the news or being on social media can be difficult because just about every other article is one about Donald Trump. Trump will be our president for at least the next four years, and it is important that we pay attention to his POLICIES and not all the hubbub that surrounds him.

1.  Who cares what Melania or Ivanka wore?

It does not matter if you think their outfit was inappropriate or amazing. What those women are wearing have nothing to do with Trump’s administration, so reading or viewing articles like that is a waste of time.

*Shrugs* Who cares????

2.  Ignore Trump’s twitter account

Donald Trump’s tweets are childish, irrelevant, and most of the time incorrect. He has a tendency to put his foot in his mouth on social media. Nothing that he tweets is worth any value, unless it directly has something to do with policies he is trying to pass.

*Sigh* Not a single shred of proof to back up this claim Donald!

3.  Fact check articles before you share them on social media

Whether you are a Democrat, Republican, or anything in between, do not share any kind of article, picture, or quote before fact checking if it is real. If everyone started fact checking things before they shared them, the world would be a much more informed place. If there are sites that constantly have wrong information, stop looking at them. The only thing that these articles can do is rile you up with misinformation.

Incase you’re wondering, no Harrison Ford NEVER said that, yet I’ve seen this on my Facebook Timeline quite a bit.

4.  Watch news from all different viewpoints

News stations now a days usually all have a distinct point of view. Don’t just watch the news places that share your point of view, watch them all. You would be amazed at how you can tell a news story multiple ways.

5.  Be prepared to vote in 2018

If you do not like the way things are going right now, be ready to vote for congress and other small elections in 2018. Even if you do like the way things are being run now, still be prepared to vote, because you can complain all you want, but the only way to get your voice heard is to cast a vote.
