When I was getting ready the other night, I had a thought cross my mind – how much is my makeup bag worth? Not the actual bag itself, but the contents of it. So, I did what any college student would do at an odd hour of the morning: I looked up the cost of everything in my makeup bag. And by everything, I mean all the brushes, actual makeup, primers, palettes, and tools that somehow all fit into my makeup bag (#makeupaddictinthemaking). I went on all the various store websites where I bought all the items that I currently own, and I wrote down the name and cost of the product. I have also written a sentence or two about what I like about the product and why I purchased them. So here you have it – the contents of my makeup bag:

Drumroll please…. the total comes out to: $382.50!!!

DO NOT be alarmed – I probably did not spend that actual amount of money! I am a sucker for sales and discounts, so I shop very smart. I wait until there is a sale or I have a coupon to purchase any items. I am a college student – any last penny counts! My mom also is a certified makeup addict, so some of the products that I have in my bag are hand-me-downs and items that she purchased and never opened. Serious perks. #blessup.

There you have it – my makeup bag costs a total of $382.50. How much is YOURS worth?
