I’m sure you are all familiar with the recent fad of women asking their boyfriends, or their fellow guy friends, what they think a beauty blender sponge is. Now, if you were to ask me and I was a male, I would have no d@mn clue. Some of the responses I received were, I guess you could say… plausible though. Sephora defines a beauty blender as “a non-disposable sponge applicator that allows you to flawlessly apply your makeup.”

I have decided to categorize my responses into the seven different types of guys I spoke with about what their interpretation of the beauty blender is.

To start,

1. “The One Who Knows ABSOLUTELY NOTHING”

First of all, its spelt FURBY! And second of all, are you f***ing serious?

2. “The Persistent One”

I could have literally told him to keep on guessing, and he probably would have. But a bean bag chair? C’mon now.

3. “The Artist”

I mean, props to him for being somewhat creative?

4. “The Nitwit”

*insert a palm straight to the head*

5. “The One Who Watches Too Much Porn”

Unfortunately, we all know that guy.

6. “The One Who Pays Attention (But Probably Does Not Have a Girlfriend)”

This guy appears to the public as the “ideal boyfriend” type, but clearly cannot keep or get a girl (given that he does not know how to differentiate a beauty blender from a bath bomb.) Nice try, buddy!

And finally, my personal favorite…

7. “Mr. Know It All”

This is the guy we want picking out our flowers or chocolates.

This is the guy I’d trust when I say, “I do not care” when asked where we should go to dinner.

This is the guy who would know what I meant when I said “my contour is on fleek!”

This is the guy who UNDERSTANDS US.

We like this guy.

Guys, be like this guy.

How would you categorize your responses? Leave me a message in the comments box!
