Healthy Vegan Lifestyle Bloggers to Follow

It can be very tempting to indulge in unhealthy foods during quarantine time. It can be especially challenging if you don’t know how to cook healthier options. Whether you are vegan, following a diet, or just simply want to eat healthy meals, food bloggers can be very helpful! You can always count on certain accounts to post the best recipes. Here’s a few of my favorites:

 

  1. 1. Tabitha Brown (@iamtabithabrown)

    I love Tabitha’s vibrant energy and healthy vegan meals. Tabitha makes cooking fun! She has a talent at recreating favorite non-vegan meals into vegan style. Some of her favorite recreations are a carrot dog (vegan hot dog), mushroom (vegan seafood), and jackfruit (vegan bbq). She’s always telling funny stories, motivating her viewers, and having fun with her family. The convenient part about Tabitha is that she is on all social media platforms, so you can watch her videos on any app. 

  2. 2. Lizzo (@lizzobeeating, @lizzo)

    Lizzo is taking us along on her vegan journey! Since the pandemic has started, Lizzo has been making several tik toks including ‘What I eat in a day” videos, journaling her meals from breakfast and beyond! Lizzo is a new vegan and is a perfect guide if you are just becoming a vegan. Lizzo loves to drink smoothies and is constantly showing her workout routine. Lizzo is the perfect example of how to embody a healthy lifestyle! 

  3. 3. The College Vegan (@the.college.vegan)

    The college vegan, aka Dani, is a sophomore in college. She posts easy, affordable, and healthy vegan recipes that are so convenient for college students! Not only does she post food that looks aesthetically pleasing, but she also posts healthy tips and cooking hacks! All of the recipes can be found here!

Eating vegan has a negative rep. Prior to trying out some of these meals, I always thought that a vegan diet would be bland and unsatisfying, but these social media influencers and countless others show that veganism does not have to be boring! You can essentially make anything taste good with vegan substitutions. I hope following these accounts will help you on your journey to a healthier lifestyle!
