After almost a week of speculation, Harry confirmed that he is moving onto a new music era.
Harry Styles fans found a Twitter account that is attached to a website. The link takes you to a site with a door. If you click on the door, it cracks open halfway revealing a new image every time the account posts a new tweet. Fans all over the world speculated that this new Twitter account, @youarehome, was Harry Styles.
It wasn’t until March 23 that Harry Styles confirmed this suspicion by revealing his new album, Harry’s House, will be available May 20! The new album will have 13 songs, a reveal that came a day after Target leaked the title and release date.
The details in this release are incredibly thoughtful and stem all the way back to his first album. In his first album, Harry Styles, he has lyrics that say, “You bring me home.” His second album, Fine Line, included the lyrics, “I’ll be home.” And now? His latest… “You are home.”
The creative genius doesn’t stop there. During the second wave of his 2022 tour release, he named the concert pits: “Bedroom,” “Hallway,” and “Kitchen.” All parts of a house.
With the addition of the Twitter account, everyone should have known. The youarehome.co website’s picture releases even revealed parts of his new album cover. The door revealing the pictures is also pictured on the cover.
Harry Styles newly released makeup and skincare line, Pleasing, also just came out with a new drop. However, there is a hidden shape within the nail polish boxes. A key. (A key to a house, perhaps?)
Everything hint he has released relates back to a house and his album title, Harry’s House.
The best part of this reveal is a video clip that Harry released with the announcement. When you play the sound backwards, it sounds exactly like a new song release.
Prepare yourself for anything between now and May 20. Harry Styles is expected to release a new single on April 1 titled, As It Was, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we get even more cryptic hints to go with it.
