Christmas is around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited! We’ve come up with a short list of Christmas movies to help you guys get in the holiday spirit indoors!

1. The Santa Claus Series

Haven’t we all wondered who Santa Claus really is? Where he comes from, and what it’s like up on the north pole? Well, trust me when I tell you that The Santa Claus series will answer all your questions. With the perfect mixture of festive and Christmas-y feels, this three-movie series will take you on a rollercoaster ride through the north pole! Here’s a link for the first The Santa Claus movie to set your snowball rolling!

Edward Scissorhands

How about a trip into the world of Tim Burton’s imagination? Edward Scissorhands is a unique and romantic love story that will warm up your heart this cold winter season. The music and the shots are  well-thought-out works of art that you won’t be able to take your eyes off of for the whole film! Don’t forget to check the eccentric fashion of the characters too! It’s a film that will make you want to watch it every year, particularly in this season. Click the youtube link above to watch the trailer!

Last Christmas

Who don’t know Wham!’s “Last Christmas”? Maybe you notice that Christmas is around the corner when you hear this song like I do! This movie features songs by Wham! and George Michael such as “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go”, “Faith”, “Heal the Pain”, and of course “Last Christmas”!

The main story is about a romance between Kate and Tom, but there are so many things you can enjoy this movie because it picks up various social issues in London like racism, poverty, and LGBTQ rights. Through understanding these aspects of the movie, you can enjoy the romance story while also being challenged to question ‘what is “normal”?’ or ‘what does it mean to be a “normal person”?’. If you don’t want to watch a stereotypical love story, then Last Christmas is a perfect choice for you!

That’s it from us with our Christmas movie recommendations! Hope you guys can enjoy this Christmas indoors and spend some quality movie time with the fam!
