As we are in the midst of New York Fashion Week, with multiple shows everyday, it’s hard to keep up with which designer is next on the runway. We wanted to break it down for you to help you know what’s happening in the Big Apple. From Rodarte’s feminine and edgy twist to 20-year-old fashion prodigy Anna K, here’s the latest from NYFW.

Rodarte, Marchesa, and Alexander Wang to name a few, had an overwhelming sense of contrast with edgy lace and bold blacks against pure white and feminine silhouettes. These designers know how to reach all appeals to our generation who want to be feminine, but also want to be seen as serious.

Speaking of serious, Anna K, a 20-year-old from Ukraine had her fashion week debut. If hitting the runway of NYFW at her age isn’t inspiring, than I don’t know what is. Her looks appeal to us for their laid back and casual styles, where fashion meets comfort. The looks are effortless and young, as they reflect her age.

Coach brought us back to school in letter jackets and corduroy skirts. These classic staples are fun and youthful, but also so different from what else has been seen so far this season. The small leather bags that look like gym bags complete the style, bringing us really back to high school gym days.

Lastly, Caroline Herrera, kept it simple and elegant with pastel colors and flowing skirts. The first-lady is known to wear Herrera, which always makes this collection one to watch. You can never go wrong with simplicity.
