It seems like kind of an overstatement to say that one mass-produced item can change your whole life, but I’m not hyperbolizing in the slightest. I’m fairly sure I’m part lizard or something because I’m so cold-blooded. I love my roommates to death, but they all get hot so easily, which means the heat in our unit is never above 70 degrees. The only disagreement I ever had with my first year roommate was over the dorm’s temperature (I mustered up all my courage to ask as politely as possible if she could keep the window closed when the outside temperature went below freezing). You get the point.
Once upon a time last week, one of my roommates came back from Walmart with a heated blanket, just for me. A twin size Sunbeam Heated Fleece Blanket in blue, to be exact. It came complete with five amazing settings and all you have to do is plug it in. Wait just a few minutes and your whole bed becomes beautifully warm, barely any effort required. Suffice it to say, that blanket has changed the way I go about my life, entirely for the better. If you’re cold all the time like me and you’re totally outnumbered by warm people (or if you can’t or don’t want to have that awkward heat conversation where you try not to show them how much you’re perishing in their frigid atmosphere), please please do yourself a favor and buy a heated blanket. I’m just a week into using this product and I’m already crafting a shameless plug for it.
