JN: What quote do you live by and why?

SS: “This too shall pass.” It reminds me that any type of discomfort or frustrations I am having is probably temporary and things will regulate soon.

JN: Where do you see yourself in 10-20 years?

SS: Hopefully living in Boston, MA or Portland, ME having finished graduate school!

JN: If you could spend the day with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?

SS: Bernie Sanders!! I would work with him on his campaign and maybe hike with him in Vermont!

JN: If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live?

SS: Portland, Maine! I love the city because it is in the process of becoming a hotspot for a lot of new business and job opportunities. Also, the area gives a perfect mix up of natural beauty and city life.

JN: What is something most people on campus don’t know about you?

SS: I am a HUGE procrastinator. I think I give off a vibe that makes people think I have it all together, but I really do not at all!

JN: What’s an embarrassing story you’re willing to share?

SS: At my last interview for a technician position at a hospital I opened up my computer to check my calendar and my Spotify was open from when I was getting dressed for the interview. As you can imagine, while I was getting ready I was trying to pump myself up, so when I opened my computer, Lil Wayne’s “Start this S*** Off Right” started blasting.

JN: What would you like to be remembered for?

Being a good friend and supporter to the people around me and the students in my major!
