JN: What quote do you live by and why?
JAN: “Live simply, love generously, learn constantly” – I think it’s incredibly important to have gratitude in life and I believe that such gratitude comes with accepting simplicity and recognizing all the little things that you love in life, and for me, by continuing to learn in each day and moment.
JN: Where do you see yourself in 10-20 years?
JAN: 10 years: In a successful career (something related to environmental/social justice law or journalism…) and beginning a happy family :)
JN: If you could spend the day with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
JAN: Right now, my mom – I haven’t seen her since June :(
JN: If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live?
JAN: Somewhere where environmental and human rights are valued and respected.
JN: What would you like to be remembered for?
JAN: Kindness and resiliency.
