JN: What quote do you live by and why?

JA: “What’s meant to be will always find a way.” I continue to remind myself that I can’t think about the past and think “what if” because everything happens for a reason.

JN: Where do you see yourself in 10-20 years?

JA: I hope to be in a residency program, and officially becoming a doctor soon. I also hope to at least have a long-term boyfriend or fiancé and be thinking of having a family in the near future.

JN: If you could spend the day with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?

JA: I would spend the day with my mom.

JN: If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live?

JA: I would live in San Francisco, California.

JN: What is something most people on campus don’t know about you?

JA: I was born in Utah and spent my first four years of my life there!

JN: What’s an embarrassing story you’re willing to share?

JA: One time in a Walmart parking lot I went up to a car that I thought was my friends, but it turned out to be a stranger’s! I literally opened the door of the car and was about to get in but then the owner of the car came up to it. I was humiliated and felt so bad. Of course, my friends found it hilarious!

JN: How do you feel about being nominated as a Campus Cutie?

JA: I feel honored to be nominated! The person who nominated me is such a sweet person, and I am so glad I’ve gotten closer to her this past year.

JN: What would you like to be remembered for?

JA: I obviously hope to be successful in the future and be remembered for all of my hard work paying off. However, most of all I hope to be remembered for brightening people’s day and making this world a better place.
