“Fresh off the Boat” is a series that relates to my life on many levels. My parents are immigrants and these stereotypes from Fresh off the Boat relates to my family – and its so hilarious! Here are my favorite moments from Fresh off the Boat.

1. Jessica

She is my spirit animal, I want to be the best like her.

2. The body roll

When Eddie would make his entrance, that is the dance move I want to do when a song comes on.

3. Chinese Santa

Like what? I wish my parents did this but a Filipino Santa

4. Jessica teaching Eddie to respect women

Jessica just out here teaching her kids the goods!

5. Minorities! The message that minorities have a chance at the American dream!

This show is so relatable, but also the bop songs from the 90’s that come with this show is what I live for.

Mariah is 21-years-old senior at Hawaii Pacific University, majoring in Mass Communication concentrating in Advertising and Public Relations and minoring Marketing. On her free time, she likes to join extra-curricular activities at HPU, go to the beach, and hang out with her friends and family.
