As someone who takes Christmas very seriously, I always enjoy making my Christmas list every year and setting up a decorative, aesthetically pleasing slideshow to display it. However, the actual difficult part comes when it’s time to add items to my list. It seems like there are things I want all year round, but when it actually comes time to ask for them, I draw a blank. That’s why I’m giving suggestions for you to spruce up your list and help add some ideas to it!
I’m a girl who’s really big into doing her makeup and loves to use all the latest trendy products on her face. One thing that’s on my list this year is the Saie skin tint foundation, which acts as a lightweight foundation that provides solid coverage without being too heavy on the skin. I’m very excited about this one because I have wanted a nicer foundation for a while, and I’ve found the e.l.f. Halo Glow foundation just isn’t cutting it anymore. Another ask for me is the Rhode tinted lip peptide, which acts as both a lip gloss and a treatment. I used to have another rhode peptide, but it was clear. I’m hopeful to try this one as I liked the clear, but I prefer a little bit of color in my lip gloss, so the tint is a better fit for me.Â
Another section on my list is entirely dedicated to shoes! For a college student, a healthy collection of durable, walkable shoes is very important, while also being stylish and cute. First up is Veja sneakers! Although I have never owned a pair myself, my friends who do all rave about them. While they are very cute, they are very comfortable and are perfect for walking up all the stairs and hills at Holy Cross. Another pair of shoes to add are the Boston Birkenstocks. These are kind of controversial as some people think they are kind of ugly, but personally, I really like the style and comfort of the shoes. I already own Birkenstock sandals, and I hope to eventually add the Boston’s to my collection! Lastly, a shoe that I have seen a lot of lately is ballet flats. I think I found the perfect pair: Cider ballet flats in wine are the prettiest, simple shoes, and are perfect for Christmas dinner or a casual stroll around your hometown! I absolutely adore the color, and I love the wintery vibe they have as well.Â
Now, some of the miscellaneous items I have on my list are very wide-ranging, so let’s dive in! Perfect for all college students, and a simple ask is an Owala water bottle! I already have an Owala, but due to it being at college and being dropped many times, it has definitely fallen into poor condition. A new Owala is a perfect addition to any Christmas list and one I highly recommend! This one is a little bit on the pricey side, but for someone who wants to smell and feel good, this is a good addition. Burberry Goddess perfume is incredible, and if you’re looking for a new perfume to add to your collection, one I would totally recommend.Â
