TikTok R.E.P.O.R.T Trend: My Fall Favs

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Holy Cross chapter.

One of tiktoks newest trends is the R.E.P.O.R.T. Everyone is sharing their weekly or monthly favorites in a variety of categories. Give it a search to find a new series, album, or skincare product. So jumping on the REPORT train, here are my fall favs.

Reading: Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls. A re-read for me from one of my high school English classes. Highly recommend watching the movie after finishing the book.

Eating: Volturno. A great pizza and pasta place a short drive from campus. My friends and I tried it for a birthday dinner and it was great. The arancini is a must for apps, and my friends (who are lucky to not have a nut allergy) raved about the nutella pizza for days.

Playing: Zach Bryan on repeat. Specifically “I Remember Everything” and “Oklahoma Smokeshow”. His newest album has been getting me ready for the calm and chill fall vibe.

Obsessed With: Co-Star. My favorite app lately without a doubt. I’ve never been crazy into astrology but I love how simple it is and getting to see my do’s and don’ts for the day when I wake up is always a nice way to start my mornings.

Recommending: Gilmore Girls. A classic, feel-good series perfect for fall. The small town Connecticut vibe will instantly get you excited for a New England October day (despite the cold weather). The series can be rewatched over and over and is always just as good. Also a bonus – there’s seven seasons and a special netflix reboot for when you’re done.

Treated Myself: To get my nails. I learned how to do my own gel nails two years ago and love it. I don’t need to spend two hours in a nail salon every few weeks and it’s way cheaper. However this week I decided to treat myself to a nail salon visit and I have to admit, it was a nice break after a long week.
