Rating How Well I Think Celebrities Would Do in the Hunger Games

Over Thanksgiving break, I was fortunate enough to be able to see the new Hunger Games movie: The Ballad of SongBirds and Snakes. A big fan of both the books and original movies, I had very high expectations for the film, and, amazingly, it did not disappoint in the least. Every time I have read the books or watched one of the movies, I always end up speculating on how well my friends and I could do if we were put in the games.

Watching The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes was no exception, and I once again found myself ranking how not only myself, but also how famous figures would do in the arena. Here, I have compiled a short list of some of my favorite girl bosses and how well I believe they would do in the games.

  1. Taylor Swift: Victor

Although I may be biased, I truly think that Taylor has what it takes to win the games altogether. It takes brains and prowess to make it to the top of the music industry, and she is an incredibly intelligent, calculated, and meticulous person. These traits would make her a talented adversary in the games as they would aid her strategy. Also, anyone who has heard “no body, no crime,” “I Did Something Bad,” or “Vigilante Shit” knows that Taylor is more than capable of getting down and dirty and doing what needs to be done… on the stage, or in the arena.

  1. Megan Fox: Victor

Here’s another badass who I believe has what it takes to win it all. Megan is an absolute powerhouse, and everything about her just screams victor. If in the Games, I think she’d end up a lot like Johanna, kicking ass and rebelling against the Capitol. I think that she’d use her beauty as a weapon and ruthlessly take out anyone who got in her path.

  1. Jennifer Lawrence: Dies in bloodbath

Finally, we come to Katniss herself: J-Law. Jennifer Lawrence is one of my favorite celebrities ever, but I really think she’d have absolutely no chance in the Hunger Games (I mean, the girl tripped up the stairs going to get her Oscar). She is an absolute sweetheart, and there is no way she could kill anyone, on purpose or inadvertently, in the arena. Besides her big heart, she is an absolute klutz and completely clueless (in the best way possible of course). Sadly, I wouldn’t even expect her to make it past the bloodbath at the cornucopia, perhaps from tripping over her own feet and hitting her head on a rock.
