You know you just can’t even when…
- Your professor assigns a final essay AND a final exam! Why do they think you have time for that? Laxmas and Ritzmas are this weekend and you do NOT plan on sitting in your dorm room studying.
- Your roommate gives you a judgey look when she walks in after hours in the library and you’re lying on your bed watching Netflix. Yeah, you have work, but Sex and the City is also really important, and honestly, it’s no one’s business that you’ve been watching it for three hours.
- It’s negative degrees outside and basically raining ice and you have class!! Why do professors want to drive and risk their lives to teach about Descartes and Plato?! You sure don’t want to ruin your new fur-hood parka and boots or fall in front of the entire Hockey team on your way to Stein!
- You get to Kimball and the guy at the sandwich station knows your order… does that mean you should switch things up or just stop going altogether??
- You go to the gym, work out on the elliptical for 15 minutes, and leave. Honestly, whatever. You’ll just eat a salad for dinner.
- You say you’ll eat a salad, but it’s Christmas dinner! It’s basically calling your name. You’ll just eat fruit tomorrow or something.
- It’s Wednesday night, so obviously you’re at Leitrim’s talking to a super cute guy from your Religion class. Unfortunately, your crew is rolling their eyes since it’s the fifth guy you’ve drunkenly spilled your guts do about how you should be doing work right now. Whatever. As the saying goes, “The heart wants what it wants”- Selena Gomez.
- You trip on the steps going down to the bottom level in Dinand. Well, forget homework; that’s enough stress for one day.
- You walk into class late because the line at Cool Beans was sooooo long (and you definitely cannot survive Statistics without coffee). Then your professor makes a comment about how important it is to be on time and how you can get coffee after class. Oops. Is he talking about you??
- Life is hard. But don’t worry- we’ve all been there! When you honestly just like can’t even anymore, take it all in stride and try to realize how #blessed you really are.
